Open Casting Sessions
Open Casting Sessions will be held every Tuesday evening beginning June 5, 2012. Sessions begin at 6 PM and run until about 8 PM each evening. They will be held on the lawn just south of the Redding Convention Center and across from Channel 7 in the Turtle Bay Area. Open casting is an opportunity to get more practice or work on individual casting issues with professional level individual instruction. There is no charge for the open casting.
Beginners are urged to attend the Beginners Casting Classes (below) to build up basic skills prior to attending the open casting sessions. This allows the instructors to work with advanced beginners and intermediate casters without taking extended periods of time to go through the basics with beginners. It will also promote improved individual casting during the Open Casting Sessions by allowing concentration on individual areas of concern. Bring eye protection.
